Hello Educators! My name is Steve Camargo and since 2014 I’ve been building my sneaker art brand KicksArt to become a full-time business/career for myself. My background in graphic design and love of digital media/technology has allowed me success in the digital economy students are growing up in. I want to share my story/example with students to show them what’s possible and dispel any negative stigma associated with going into the arts professionally. Despite the worst economic period in 100 years due to the global pandemic, I have been able to develop a profitable art business through social media content creation.
Also, these presentations offer me amazing public speaking/presentation building experience and get me in front of the primary demographic of users that watch my videos and use my coloring pages!
So it’s like a win, win, win, win! lol
Live Call with a Full-Time Sneaker Artist!
All the topics shown in the graphic below have individual presentations designed for each school tier (Elementary, Middle, and High school). Whether your elementary students want to learn how to market on social media, or if your High schoolers want to learn the basics of drawing sneakers, I’m happy to speak with them all!
Session Topics
The first half of the presentation covers my background and the story/lesson shared, while the second half answers common questions students tend to have based on what I discussed. This streamlines the Q&A portion at the end and provides the most value for students!

To properly funnel the incredible demand for my mini-lectures/sessions, free sessions are now only offered once per semester. The instructor may record a copy of the session to share with their own future classes! You can book as early as 6 months in advance via the form below to secure a specific day! Feel free to invite your Principal, Director, Administrator, and Parents!

Most frequent questions and answers
Yes, they are (except for “Why be an artist?” – see below). For most of the topics mentioned above, I’ve created separate variations of the same presentation to better relate the message to students. For elementary students, the presentation incorporates more photos and gifs. As for high schoolers, they’d rather I get straight to the details on how to earn money being an artist lol.
The “Why be an Artist Today?” session I recommend ONLY for grades 6 & up. This is because some of the points I’ll be driving home in the session will be made by comparing the struggles of modern artists, to the struggles that most human beings faced throughout history. Which by default involves harsh realities of the plight of Mankind. I’m not sure if children will be able to appreciate these points being made, hence the decision for “Grades 6+ Only”.
Yes absolutely! I encourage doing so to share the presentation with other/future students!
I offer 1 Free session on the topic of your choice per semester! For those who are interested in additional sessions, please refer to my Rate Card above the Request Form for the different packages I offer!

The invoices are normally sent out via Paypal that can be paid with a credit card. However, I do accept school-issued checks as well!

As soon as I have availability! Which could be as early as the next week depending on the time slot.
Absolutely! If they get lost in their work to the point where they drown me out, I’d say that’s a win lol.
Things happens! We ask that you try to notify us of any schedules changes no later than 48 hours prior to the session. Due to high demand, there may be a longer gap between the scheduled date and the next available slot at your preferred day/time.
For the best presentation experience, I recommenced using Zoom for the live session. This is because I like using a Sound board during the presentation to play sound effects, and Zoom is the only platform I can do so without any problems (I know, It’s inconvenient lol).
